GESSURE – Terms of Service

Last Updated: October 2025 Effective From: The date of user registration or first use of the GESSURE platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

  • By accessing or using GESSURE, users agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any other guidelines or updates published by the platform.
  • If you do not agree, please stop using the platform immediately.

2. Nature of the Platform

  • GESSURE is a social networking and job connection platform for professionals, students, and recruiters.
  • The platform provides a medium for posting jobs, applying for jobs, chatting, reviews, and networking, but does not act as a recruiter or employer.
  • All data, posts, and activities are user-generated, and GESSURE does not verify or guarantee the accuracy of such content.

3. User Eligibility

  • Users must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a legally binding agreement.
  • Each user is allowed to maintain only one personal account.
  • Users must use their real name, accurate information, and avoid fake profiles or impersonation.

4. Account Registration and Security

  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials (e.g., access to their email or Google account).
  • Any activity from a user’s account will be treated as the user’s own action.
  • GESSURE is not liable for any unauthorized access, hacking, or loss due to user negligence.

5. Verification Documents

  • Users may be asked to upload identity or company documents for verification purposes.
  • These documents are stored securely and used only for internal verification.
  • GESSURE does not share or misuse user documents.
  • GESSURE is not liable for any misuse, inaccuracy, or legal claims arising from user-submitted documents.
  • Submitting fake or fraudulent documents will lead to immediate suspension and may result in legal action.

6. Job Posts & Applications

  • All job listings and recruiter profiles are user-generated.
  • GESSURE does not guarantee the authenticity, availability, or results of any job post.
  • Users are advised to verify every job and employer independently before sharing personal or financial details.
  • GESSURE is not responsible for fake, misleading, or expired job posts.
  • Students and job seekers should exercise caution before applying.
  • GESSURE’s role is limited to displaying opportunities shared by users.

7. Reviews, Posts & Comments

  • Reviews and posts reflect personal opinions of users, not GESSURE’s endorsement.
  • GESSURE is not responsible for any defamatory, false, or offensive reviews.
  • GESSURE reserves the right to remove or moderate content that violates guidelines.
  • Automated or spam content is strictly prohibited.

8. Messaging and Chat Policy

  • Chats and messages are private between users, but must comply with our community standards.
  • GESSURE prohibits nudity, harassment, hate speech, spam, or illegal discussions.
  • The platform may review or restrict chats reported by users for safety reasons.
  • GESSURE is not responsible for personal communications between users.

9. Payment & Refund Policy

  • Job posting, premium features, and promotions are non-refundable once payment is completed.
  • Refunds will only be issued in cases of duplicate payment or proven technical error.
  • GESSURE does not store card or banking details; payments are processed securely via third-party gateways.

10. Account Deletion and Termination

  • Users can delete their account anytime. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.
  • GESSURE is not responsible for data loss, messages, or job history after deletion.
  • GESSURE reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account that violates terms or posts misleading content.
  • Account removal does not entitle users to a refund.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

  • GESSURE respects user privacy and complies with Indian IT Act 2000 and global data protection laws (GDPR).
  • User data is stored securely and not sold to any unauthorized third party.
  • Uploaded verification documents are deleted on request after the verification process.
  • Users agree that GESSURE may use non-personal data for analytics and service improvement.

12. Platform Liability

  • GESSURE is a digital intermediary and holds no responsibility for user behavior, accuracy of posts, or outcomes of interactions.
  • GESSURE will not be liable for:
  • Loss of data, income, or reputation.
  • Damages caused by user-to-user interactions.
  • Any job, document, or content-related disputes.
  • Users agree to use the platform at their own risk.

13. Third-Party Links

  • The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by GESSURE (e.g., links in job posts or user profiles).
  • GESSURE has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that GESSURE shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

14. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Post false information, nudity, or copyrighted content.
  • Misuse another person’s data, profile, or company name.
  • Post or promote scams, fake jobs, or misleading advertisements.
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to collect data.
  • Spread hate speech, threats, or sexually explicit material.

Violation of any of the above may lead to permanent ban and legal action.

15. User Warnings

  • Always verify before applying for jobs.
  • Never share OTPs, passwords, or financial details via chat.
  • GESSURE never asks for personal data outside the app.
  • Use the “Report” option to flag fake or unsafe content.
  • Be respectful; unprofessional behavior will result in action.

16. Intellectual Property

  • GESSURE’s IP: All logos, designs, brand assets, and technology of GESSURE are protected trademarks and copyrights. Copying or reusing GESSURE content without permission is strictly prohibited.
  • User’s IP and License to GESSURE: You retain ownership of the content you submit or post to the Services. However, to operate the platform, you grant GESSURE a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable right to use, copy, modify, distribute, publish, and process the information and content you provide, without any further consent, notice, or compensation to you or others.
  • Feedback: If you submit suggestions or other feedback regarding our Services, you agree that GESSURE can use and share (but does not have to) such feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.

17. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. GESSURE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. GESSURE MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

18. Limitation of Liability

  • GESSURE’s total liability under any claim will never exceed the amount paid by the user (if any) to GESSURE in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • The platform is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the app or services.

19. Dispute Resolution

  • All disputes shall be governed by the laws of India, under the jurisdiction of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
  • Users agree to first resolve disputes through GESSURE’s official support channels before any legal action.

20. Modification of Terms

  • GESSURE reserves the right to update or modify these Terms anytime.
  • Continued use of the platform after updates implies acceptance of new Terms.

21. General Terms

  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties’ intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of the Terms remain in full force and effect.
  • No Waiver: Any failure by GESSURE to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
  • Assignment: You may not assign this Agreement without our prior written consent. GESSURE may assign this Agreement to its affiliates or a party that buys it without your consent.
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms (and our Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and GESSURE and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements.
